Dress Alterations
| Mrs. Spielman in University Towers. She does women's clothes & is excellent. Her number is 301-681-2830. | Jean's tailoring has been our tailor of choice for about 10 years. He's in an office over the Big Wolf video store on Georgia, (corner of Georgia Avenue and Seminary). |
| Elaine Badra (she sewed up some slits and made other minor

Mr. Sam Bobrow who does an excellent work and has also
dry-cleaning. His business is out of his home. He may be in his 80's; a
holocaust survivor. He lives in Silver Spring, 805 Arrington Drive (off

excellent alterations and also formal dresses from scratch. Her studio

Lizette Young lives on Stonyhill Drive in White
Oak. She does very fine work. Her number is 301-681-5891. |
| Velma Lee does excellent work and in a timely manner. She made my
dress for my daughter's wedding in October. She has sewn many simcha
dresses for people I know, from young to older, guest to bridesmaid to
bride. You may find her fee to be pricey, but she is definitely a
